2 min read

Timberly reminds Timberline Estates residents that water service will be off Monday, September 28.

A temporary water shutoff is planned for Monday, September 28, 2026, while needed work is completed on the Timberline Estates community water system.

This water notice is meant to help everyone plan ahead with as little disruption as possible. The work is necessary, and the goal is to restore service as quickly as possible once the job is complete. A little preparation the day before and the morning of the shutoff can make the interruption much easier to manage at home.

Because water service will be off temporarily, plan for the basic needs that normally depend on running water. That includes drinking, cooking, handwashing, flushing toilets, pet care, and cleaning up after meals.

If timing changes or service is restored, updates will be sent through the Timberline Park Alert system. Please watch for those messages throughout the day.

How to plan before the water is turned off

The best time to get ready is before the interruption begins. Set aside enough water for the parts of daily life that cannot wait until service returns.

A few simple steps can help:

  • Fill clean pitchers, bottles, or jugs with drinking water.

  • Set aside water for cooking and making coffee or tea.

  • Keep water available for handwashing.

  • Fill a bucket or container for toilet flushing if needed.

  • Make sure pets have fresh water available.

  • Finish showers before the shutoff begins.

  • Run laundry and dishes ahead of time if possible.

Timberline Park Alerts will be the main source for updates

Updates about the water interruption will be sent through the Timberline Park Alert system. That includes messages about service restoration or any changes to the schedule.

Paper notices will no longer be placed on residents’ doors for routine Park Alerts. This change makes it especially important for the office to have a current cell phone number on file.

If your number has changed, or if you are not sure whether you are signed up, please contact Dawn at the Timberline Estates office. The office can help confirm that your information is current so you do not miss important community notifications.

This is a good time to check contact information for everyone in the household who should receive alerts. If one person is usually away from home during the day, having the right phone number on file can help keep the household informed.

A little advance planning can make the day easier

Before Monday, September 28, take a few minutes to think through the water tasks your household normally handles during the day. Morning showers, coffee, pet bowls, dishwashing, laundry, and cleaning routines are easy to forget until the water is unavailable.

Thank you for planning ahead and for your patience while this work is completed.
